Exclusive! Kate Hudson's uncle responds to split

For the first time, a member of Kate Hudson's family is speaking out about news of the actress' separation from stoner rock singer Chris Robinson.

And he is speaking exclusively with Tabloid Baby.

Kate's uncle Brett Hudson is a former Hudson Brother, writer and producer (along with Tabloid Baby author Burt Kearns and two-time Oscar winner Albert S. Ruddy) of the Burt Reynolds motion picture comedy hit, Cloud 9, former Bigfoot hunter and producer of the Frozen Picture documentary film, Basketball Man.

Hudson, who has been besieged with phone calls from the news media since the news broke yesterday, decided to issue his first and only statement on the sad turn of events to Tabloid Baby.

Hudson released
the following
statement
this afternoon:

Fuck off.

Leave me alone.

And leave her alone.

Kate’s mother, Goldie Hawn was married to Hudson’s brother Bill in the 1970s, but split up when Kate was 18 months old. Ironically, Kate and Robinson have a two-year old son. Even more ironically, Bill Hudson was a rock ‘n’ roll musician and singer at the top of his game when he married Hawn, while Robinson was also a rock ‘n’ roll singer when he married Kate. Except Robinson was a former heroin user.

(Brett Hudson also said today he's joining with the Fab Forever tribute group in throwing his support to the campaign to save L.A.'s Sunday morning Beatles radio show, Breakfast with The Beatles, which is set to be cancelled after Labor Day weekend.)
