She was 50. And she was our friend.

Reneé DiGiulio, president of the Naismith International Basketball Foundation, wife of Ian Naismith, a tireless advocate for children and a prime mover in the development of Frozen Pictures' nonfiction film, Basketball Man, died today at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago after a long and valiant battle with cancer.
