What? No "You'll Never Walk Alone"?

At least one report claims Jerry Lewis did indeed end his 2010 Labor Day MDA Telethon with the traditional singing of "You'll Never Walk Alone," but viewers in the Los Angeles area didn't see it, leaving us to suspect that someone connected to the LA MDA telecast feared the subpar final tote might lead to fewer donations in the ninety minutes of local telethon programming that are now following the close of the national telecast.

There's been no onscreen mention of the $58.9 million national tally, down $1.6 million from last year, and far from the record set in 2008.
