Funeral for Farrah Fawcett's father

Funeral services are taking place this morning for Farrah Fawcett's father, who joined his Angel on Monday.

The Houston Chronicle reports that that James Fawcett died Monday at 92. After the 10 am service at the Brookside Champions funeral home in Houston, he'll be buried in the Houston National Cemetery.

James stood tall at his daughter's funeral in June 2009.

Some body to share Farrah Fawcett's grave?

While controversy swirls around her legacy and Farrah Fawcett rests in the Westwood Village Memorial Park behind the towers of Wilshire Boulevard, a new question has arisen surrounding the odd placement of her name on her headstone.

More than one observer has commented that Farrah's name is placed high on the stone, with lots of space below.

The reason for all that empty space? One reader has offered fascinating speculation:

"It may be that Ryan O'Neal is planning to be buried in the same plot with his name on the same stone. This would be why there's so much room left under Farrah's name. This would also explain why Farrah was not cremated as (Farrah's college sweetheart and late-life secret lover) Greg Lott and others know was Farrah's wish."


Fascinating! In fact, O'Neal could have gotten the idea while on a somber walk through the park, where he could have bumped into the grave of Farrah's fellow Seventies television icon, Carroll O'Connor, who generously shares his plot and gravestone with not only his wife, but his troubled, drug-addicted son--

Troubled, drug addicted son? All the more poignant reason for Farrah to make room.


But Ryan O'Neal? Linked with Farrah through eternity? For now, it's only speculation, but at least Farrah gets top billing.

Kate Jackson wants to move to Australia

Suspicions that former Charlie's Angels actress Kate Jackson picked a fight with Ryan O'Neal as a way to revive her career have been put to rest by a portion of her story that has yet to receive widespread exposure in the Hollywood media: she is planning to leave the country.

Jackson raised a storm when she claimed last week that O'Neal and Alana Stewart had prevented her from visiting her dear friend Farrah Fawcett in the final weeks of her life. The uproar was kicked into hurricane status when she made a stunning reversal and backed Craig Nevius in his legal battle against O'Neal and Stewart over their commandeering of his and Farrah's cancer documentary. Jackson also suggested that O'Neal had coerced a delirious Farrah into signing over the rights to him.


As it turns out, the interview that appeared on RadarOnline.com was conducted by international journalist Dylan Howard, known recently for bringing further exposure and validity to the claims by Farrah's college beau Greg Lott that O'Neal prevented him from visiting Farrah, his recent, secret lover.

A version of the story also appeared in Australia's Woman's Day magazine, and in a sidebar, the 61-year-old actress reveals her surprise plans:

"I want to move to Australia. When I started acting school, I thought, 'Gee, I would love to go to Australia,' but then my life took off.

"I ended up going in the '80s for the Logies... and I think it is great there. Australia to me feels like America when I was growing up. It feels safe. Here, I can't let my 14-year-old son go ride his bike without supervision. You need to put a GPS chip in him to do that.

"I'll live in the city in the beginning, to meet people, and then move somewhere where I will be more comfortable.

"I'm too young to retire. I want to work and Australia is the place for me to do that."

Add Kate Jackson to the list of close friends who claim they were banned from visiting Farrah Fawcett in the final weeks of her life.

Farrah's Charlie's Angels costar and friend of four decades has come out with teeth and claws bared, charging that Ryan O'Neal and Alana Stewart suddenly cut off access to the actress as she lost her battle to cancer.

"I was shut out. I was prevented from saying goodbye to one of my best friends."

Kate says the she learned of the banishment suddenly, as she had arrived to visit Farrah' at her condo on Wilshire Boulevard. "I was walking across the lobby at her apartment, carrying a shopping bag with apples, grapes, green tea and as I got toward the elevator, the security guard yelled out ‘Ms. Jackson, no-one upstairs.’

“I turned around, looked at the guard and said, ‘What?’ I was stunned.

“I walked over to him. I was really incredulous because this particular guard had seen me from the beginning. I asked him why and he said he didn’t know, but it had come from upstairs.

“From that moment on, we weren’t able to see or talk to Farrah, again. It was very upsetting."


Jackson, 61, says she confronted Stewart and demanded to know why she and others were stopped from seeing Farrah.

“Alana told me that was what Farrah wanted, because she didn’t want anyone to see her like that."

“That, to me, didn’t make much sense because the whole world was about to see her like that in the documentary, Farrah’s Story. It didn’t sound right.

“On the miniscule possibility that what Alana said was true, I did not wish to do something against Farrah’s wishes and just burst in.

“On the chance it was Farrah’s wishes, we all didn’t want to upset her. I wanted to respect her wishes.

“But to be truthful, I wish I had burst in. I really do.”

Kate Jackson joins other Farrah intimates like secret boyfriend Greg Lott and production partner Craig Nevius, who claim that O'Neal stopped them from paying respects to their dear friend Farrah. She recently raised eyebrows when she "switched sides" and threw her support to Nevius in his lawsuit battle with O'Neal, Stewart and Richard B. Francis over the Farrah's Story documentary special.

She made her explosive comments to RadarOnline.com, the Internet branch of the National Enquirer that last week ran our exclusive story about the auctioning of a lock of Farrah's hair without attribution.

Farrah's son Redmond O'Neal back in jail

Poor Redmond O'Neal. Drugs have beaten him down more thoroughly than his dad ever could. The cursed son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal was sent back to jail today after violating his probation on a list of drug convictions.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Tynan today sentenced the 24-year-old whose name is always preceded by the word "troubled," to 30 days in an in-custody drug-treatment program.

According to a spokesman for the LA County Sheriff, the troubled returned to a residential treatment center after a 24-hour pass, told counselors he'd used drugs, and then tested positive.

He was remanded into sheriff's custody on December 29th, away from the general jail population at Men's Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles. His next court date is Feb. 10.

The troubled son was jailed last year after he was caught with heroin during a security check in the parking lot of the Pitchess Detention Center. He was sentencedto three years formal probation and a six-year suspended sentence. He had been attending a court-ordered drug program.

In September 2008, he and his father were charged with felony drug possession after the sheriff's deputies reportedly found methamphetamine in the actor's bedroom and on his troubled son.


Hopes were high and everyone was rooting for Red after his mother's tragic death in June. He was left the bulk of her estate.

Greg Lott confronts Ryan O'Neal in street

"F*CK OFF IF YOU CAN'T TAKE A JOKE!"

That's Greg Lott's message, through us, to Ryan O'Neal in wake of his very dangerous street confrontation with his Farrah Fawcett love rival over the weekend. Lott, who was Farrah's college sweetheart in Texas and friend and lover in the final decade of her life, has been enraged at O'Neal, blamign him for keeping him away from Farrah in her final days. Now Lott's putting it in O'Neal's face that Farrah left him $100.00 in her will, while leaving O'Neal and her friend Alana Stewart nothing.

Lott is having his moment in the sun, with articles in newspapers and magazines around the world validating him as an important part of Farrah's life, and as the ones who first brought out his story, we're glad for him.


But his street ambush, orchestrated by tabloid media and of course recorded by video cameras, was a risky move, not only because of O'Neal's violent reputation, Lott's incarcerated past and the ages of both men (Lott is 62 and O'Neal is 68). He got it out of his system, that's fine. But more street stunts like that will have people feeling sorry for O'Neal. Just ask Michael Lohan.

And it's sad for all involved.

O'Neal: "Don't get hostile with me. This is a sad fucking time and aren't you grieving too?"

Lott: "Yeah, I'm grieving."

O'Neal: "Well, let me see it then."

Lott: "I talked to her every day for eleven years. Did you know that?"

O'Neal: "This was out of kindness."

Lott: "Oh, kindness! What does it fucking mean?"

O'Neal: "'We both lost,' it said. 'We both lost.' Isn't that what it says? 'Nobody wins.'"

Lott: "Yeah, you took her from me! I didn't go to her funeral. I didn't go to the graveside and I didn't see her and I didn't talk to her before she died."

O'Neal: "That's wrong."

Lott: "Yeah, it is wrong."

Whole Lott-a love: Secret boyfriend says Farrah Fawcett remembered him in her will

Farrah Fawcett’s college sweetheart Greg Lott has new evidence of his importance in the late actress’ life with the revelation that he was included in Farrah’s will— while her longtime lover Ryan O’Neal was not.

Lott, who’s recently published love letters and other mementos to prove that he was Farrah’s secret lover in the final decade of her life, claims the Charlie’s Angels icon left him $100,000.

The Texas football hero has claimed O’Neal, who dismissed him as a "disgruntled ex-boyfriend from the Sixties," kept him from visiting Farrah whole she was dying.

Lott says:

"I am a beneficiary of her estate. I have been asked to maintain the confidentiality of the estate, which I must respect.

"This news that I am indeed in her will and Ryan is not raises some serious questions about why he prevented me from seeing the love of my life in her final months. Farrah meant the world to me and I know that I equally had a profound impact on her. I cannot understand how those around her chose to keep me from her."

Farrah died in June after a valiant battle with cancer. She reportedly left the bulk of her estate to Redmond O’Neal, her troubled son with Ryan O’Neal.

The tabloids know a good love story when they see one. Thanks in great part to publications like OK! magazine's international editions (in this case, Mexico), Greg Lott's secret autumn romance with college sweetheart Farrah Fawcett is getting as much play as Ryan O'Neal's real-life version of his movie from 1970.

'Grieving' Greg Lott shocks Australia with secret Farrah Fawcett love and sex affair

Greg Lott’s claims and evidence of a secret. late-life love affair with Farrah Fawcett are now creating a storm in Australia, as the story that broke in the UK and was reported here is now splashed across the Down Under version of OK! magazine.

We told you on August 29th that Lott had gone public in the Daily Mail with explosive revelations that he and Farrah had been secret lovers for the past eleven years. He produced not only photographs and memories but letters from Farrah, including one in which she writes:

"Sitting here missing you more than I can say and tell you, I had the most wonderful time with you Everything was more than perfect. Thank you for making it so special. No stressure. Great food, great weather, great sex, great, great you!”


The Texan Lott is well known in pop culture history as Farrah’s football hero boyfriend from the University of Texas at Austin who lost her to Hollywood. Articles from the time show that he and Farrah reconnected in the late Nineties after her split from longtime boyfriend Ryan O’Neal, and in 2006 he partnered with Farrah in running her website.

In the weeks before Farrah’s death from cancer, Lott contacted Tabloid Baby to complain that his formerly unlimited access to his dear friend had been cut off by Ryan O’Neal. Lott maintained a vigil in Los Angeles for months, until her death from cancer on June 25th.


Much of the OK! interview and details are identical to the those in the Daily Mail article. Lott goes farther in his attack oin O’Neal, however, calling him a “psychopath.”

The article also contains a very interesting paragraph amid the memories in which Lott says he no longer has plans for to write the book book he'd announced in July:

“For all his sincerity and sentimentality, Greg Lott is aware of how this looks—secrets revealed by the former lover of a celebrity. And Greg candidly admits that he’s had a checquered past, including two prison terms for drug trafficking. But he insists he’s not in it for the fame of the money (he was not paid for his interview or for the letters and pictures). “My critics will say I am a disgruntled lover from the ‘60s and I’m looking for a pay day,’ he says. ‘I’m wondering where that pay day might be. I’m not looking to write a book. I don’t have a books deal and I don’t have agenda. But I do have a broken heart and Farrah doesn’t have a voice any more. I would never have spoken out now except that some people are trying to rewrite history, What we had was very real. I am grieving.’”

Greg Lott: "I was Farrah's secret lover!"

Farrah Fawcett's college sweetheart and website business partner has gone international with explosive revelations about what he claims was a torrid love affair that was reignited eleven years ago and ended only when Ryan O'Neal took over Farrah's affairs and refused to allow him to see her in her final weeks on earth.

Greg Lott, who dated Farrah at the University of Texas at Austin in the 1960s and did two terms in prison for drug trafficking before he and Farrah rekindled their relationship in the late Nineties, provides photos, love letters and intimate details to the Daily Mail-- including the revelation that he and Farrah took "intimate photos" on a Mexican holiday-- and "now believes Ryan found them just months before Farrah’s death."


Tabloid Baby brought Greg Lott's story forward exclusively in May after he contacted our offices to tell us that after years of unfettered access to his good friend Farrah, he'd been banned from seeing her by O'Neal and others who had gathered around her as her cancer worsened. Lott had come to Los Angeles from Lubbock, Texas and stayed, holding vigil in a nearby hotel, until Farah lost her cancer battle on June 25th.

We reported on the documented relationship that Farrah and Lott had resumed after she split with O'Neal in 1997, and included photos showing the pair together in later years. While Lott showed us evidence of his close relationship with Farrah, he stopped short of going public with the details of the romantic relationship.

Lott has gone farther with the Daily Mail, as these highlights show:

"In a series of startling revelations, Greg claims that O’Neal froze him out of Farrah’s life against her will and that she referred to O’Neal as the ‘Fat F*** from the beach’.

"...in 1996 when Farrah and Ryan’s romance came unstuck thanks to his volatile temper and infidelity, she called. ‘We arranged to meet in Texas. 'She was doing a fundraiser for battered women and invited me to the event at a hotel. She walked into the room and the electricity was there between us.’

"Farrah invited Greg to visit her at her home in Bel Air: ‘She flew me out to Los Angeles and we fell into each other’s arms.

"‘Farrah was always a very sensual woman. She never wore make-up at home and would shop at cheap stores like Walmart for her sweatpants. She had no airs and graces. That’s what I loved about her. She looked a million dollars without doing anything. In a letter written on one flight back to LA, a besotted Farrah reflected on a recent clandestine meeting:

"...'Thank you for making it so special. No stressure. Great food, great weather, great sex, great, great you!’ Greg explains: ‘Stressure was a Farrah-ism. Stress and pressure; that is what she was under with her health, her child, her parents and Ryan.’

"Greg says: ‘People close to us knew we were an item but I never wanted to be Mr Farrah Fawcett so we kept it low-key. I never wanted to go to high-profile Hollywood events.’

...The couple had holidayed in the resort of Maroma in early 2000. Greg says: ‘We’d been to Mexico once before, right at the start of our relationship at college. We went to Acapulco for Spring Break when we were madly in love.

"‘We went back at the start of 2000. It was this isolated hotel and Farrah said it was our honeymoon.’ While they were there, the couple took intimate Polaroid photos and Greg now believes Ryan found them just months before Farrah’s death..."

The "official Farrah" website was launched by Farrah Fawcett and her Texan college sweetheart Greg Lott in 2006 as a means for the actress to get her views across without the filter of the tabloid media. After her battle with cancer took a turn for the worse, it became a forum for Lott against Ryan O'Neal and Alana Stewart, whom he accused of stopping him from seeing Farrah in her final days.

O'Neal's attorneys shut down the site the day before Farrah's death on June 25th. In recent weeks, Lott was accused of failing to fulfill orders for posters and other goods sold ont he site.

Lott tells Tabloid Baby he's running FarrahFawcett.us once again.


The site has not been updated since its controversial time leading to Farrah's death and is still soliciting donations to pay for Farrah's German doctor to travel to Los Angeles.

Farrah Fawcett's Texan lover finds himself in website hot water after blasting Ryan O'Neal in television interview

Greg Lott, the college beau of Farrah Fawcett who maintained a relationship with the actress throughout her life and who was partners with her in a website operation that was shut down by Ryan O'Neal the day before Farrah died, is in the news and making news.

The Texan Lott who, after O'Neal blocked his visits, maintained a weeks-long vigil in Los Angeles while Farrah lay dying, showed up on television in his hometown of Lubbock, Texas, over the weekend, blasting O'Neal and Farrah's friend Alana Stewart-- and announcing plans to write his own book about his relationship with Farrah.


Perhaps coincidentally, a posting on the blogsite that had become his forum in the weeks after Farrah's death reports today that the Farrah Fawcett.us website will not be returning to the web, and that for now, Greg Lott is being held liable for all the fans who've ordered Farrah memorabilia from the site and are left holding the bag:

"...Mr. Lott was the manager of www.FarrahFawcett.US and held a minority 25% stake in the ownership with Ms. Fawcett in this website. As you are aware the licensing rights have reverted to the Farrah Fawcett’s estate on June 25 2009 when she succumbed to her long battle with Cancer...

"I realize there are numerous people out there that have not received the items they have ordered prior to the site being taken down by the law firm working for the estate of Farrah Fawcett. Many people have reportedly sent complaints to Paypal as well as their credit card companies, and in one instance to the FBI. I have no response to this as Mr. Lott has not responded to our repeated phone calls or emails..."

Ryan O'Neal shuts down Farrah's website

Farrah Fawcett's official website, FarrahFawcett.us, a focal point for criticism of her legal guardian Ryan O'Neal, has been shut down, allegedly on O'Neal's orders.

The publicist for Greg Lott, Farrah's partner in the site and O'Neal's antagonist in her final days, writes: "Attorney's acting on orders of Ryan O'Neal and the 'power of attorney' have served a lawsuit on the web server ordering an injunction to the website."

The site was started by Farrah and her college sweetheart Lott, as a fansite and forum for Farrah to bypass the tabloids in getting her message to the public. Lott told Tabloid Baby the site went online the same day Farrah got her cancer diagnosis, and it soon became virtual headquarters in her battle against the disease.

The site has recently become a forum for Lott, who claims Ryan O'Neal has underhandedly seized control of Farrah's estate and has blocked him and and other longtime friends of loved ones from seeing her. Lott, who's from Texas, has been in Los Angeles holding vigil for his gal, and has protested loudly that he his once open-access to Farrah was stopped after O'Neal took legal control of her affairs.

In recent weeks, Lott teamed up with a publicist named Alan Miller from a compnay called Hitman PR. Hitman's PR Blog blil itself as "THE OFFICIAL BLOG FOR FARRAH FAWCETT.US AND GREG LOTT, FARRAH'S BUSINESS PARTNER AND FRIEND WRITTEN BY ALLEN S. MILLER, PUBLICIST, HITMAN PUBLIC RELATIONS WWW.FACEBOOK.COM/DRASMILLER."

On Tuesday, Miller published "An Open Letter to Ryan O'Neal's marriage proposal," in which he made a number of lurid accusations against O'Neal and Farrah's friend Alana Stewart.

"Yesterday, attorney's acting on orders of Ryan O'Neal and the 'power of attorney' have served a lawsuit on the web server ordering an injunction to the website. After I published the "Open Letter to Ryan O'Neal, we started hearing from his attorney's. It is obvious; Mr. O'Neal does not want the truth of his activities known to the world."

The Farrah Fawcett website was a focal point for fans from around the world, and more recently as a shrine. Last motnh, Lott posted Farrah's address and urged fans to send cards, letters and packages to her home, where O'Neal, was staying, so the stacks would reach "all the way up to his neck."

Earlier this month, the Hitman site said the correspondence should be sent to O'Neal's gym.

O'Neal has reportedly continued filming a follow-up to the Farrah's Story documentary he had hijacked from its original producer, Craig Nevius. There is a report this morning that he at her bedside, repeatedly breaking down in sobs. It is not knwn whether the scene is being filmed.

Ryan O'Neal tells Barbara Walters he'll marry Farrah before she dies

Wonder if hard-hitting news veteran Barbara Walters will get to the bottom of the controversy over Ryan O'Neal's control over cancer-stricken Farrah Fawcett in her final days? Wonder no more. The promotion department at ABC is working overtime to hype the 20/20 segment that airs Friday night, and the big "get" is O'Neal's insistence that the iconic actress has agreed to marry him on her deathbed.

Says O'Neal: "We will (marry), as soon as she can say 'yes.'"

"As soon as she can say 'yes.'"

O'Neal, who has been accused by some of Farrah's friends of engineering an "estate takeover," laughed when he added: "Maybe we can just nod her head."

"Maybe we can just nod her head."

He was still having fun when he spoke about how he'd dress for the wedding: "Like a gigolo. A little thin moustache and slicked-back hair. I don't know."

"Like a gigolo."

There has been no comment from Farrah. The 62-year-old star is said to be heavily sedated, and at last word, has been re-admitted to the hospital.

This has led to questions about the veracity of O'Neal's statements and the intentions behind the wedding. But not, apparently, from Barbara Walters.

O'Neal and Farrah were tempestuous, (on-and-off) lovers for years (they have a son, Redmond, who's jailed on drug charges), but broke up officially a dozen years ago. He came back into her life during her cancer battle and recently made headlines when he seized control of the cancer documentary she had been producing and with the help of NBC News, turned it into a maudlin, morbid elder version of "Love Story" with O'Neal reprising his role.

Said one friend: "Ryan thinks the documentary will do to his career what 'Pulp Fiction did to Travolta's."

Walters, with the 20/20 investigative unit and powerful ABC News organization at her disposal, might still surprise us and delve into the charges, mystery and uproar around O'Neal's control over Farrah in her dying days. It will be interesting to see if the tabloid babies who create her segnments dig away to find the truth, or, in more standard network procedure, make deals with public relations firms, promising to stay away from certain hot topics in exchange for "exclusives' like wedding announcements.

As for the deathbed wedding, O'Neal tells Walters: "I promise you, we will. Absolutely."

Farrah Fawcett's business partner and college beau fights visit ban by inundating Ryan O'Neal with Farrah fans' cards and letters

As the Farrah Fawcett cancer plays out behind closed doors in a Beverly Hills area high-rise, one of her lifelong friends who’ve been denied access to her is striking back at her caretakers in a most unusual way.

In an action that brings to mind the scene in Miracle on 34th Street in which a judge is buried beneath sacks of letters to Kris Kringle, Greg Lott (above, with Farrah in 1999, below with Farrah at a Houston wedding in 2001) is directing Farrah fans’ cards, letters and packages to be sent to her apartment, so her longtime, on-again-off-again lover Ryan O’Neal can be “up to his neck” in them.

We’ve written about Greg Lott. He was Farrah’s football hero sweetheart in college forty-four years ago, gone down in tabloid legend as the man who lost her to Hollywood and Lee Majors, but who re-entered life in 1997 after she announced her split from lover Ryan O’Neal.

Lott is partners with Farrah in a company called Relentless, which runs her official website and the merchandising that goes along with it. Lott says the site has been getting thousands of letters that are stacking up in plastic boxes at the Relentless post office box in Lubbock, Texas, so he's having the mail forwarded to Farrah's home.


Lott, who claims that he his regular access to Farrah has been cut off since Ryan O’Neal moved in around Easter, has also posted Farrahs’ home address on the website and asked fans from around the world to send their cards, letters and packages to her very unit.

“All the fans know Farrah’s address,” Lott said this afternoon. “TVLand put the address on the air and on their website when they ran the Chasing Farrah show. A lot of her mail is already going there. You know Ryan O’Neal is already going through it, He’s looking for the letters addresed to him and the ones postmarked Texas, which he knows are from me.

“I just thought, 'Why not put it all the way up to his neck?'”

O’Neal, his business manager and Farrah’s friend Alana Stewart are being sued by Farrah’s documentary filmmaking partner. Craig Nevius claims the trio unlawfully took control of the cancer documentary project he and Farrah were producing, turning it into a morbid soap opera, assembled with NBC News, called “Farrah’s Story.”

TabloidBaby.com has learned that key evidence in the suit will be a contested signature on the document Farrah supposedly signed in giving control to O’Neal.

Lott, a Texas businessman, has been in Los Angeles since Easter, holding a vigil of sorts, waiting out his ban on seeing his true love and vowing to remain in town as long as Farrah is alive.

“She’s relentless all right,” he said. "She's a fighter. I have three friends from the University of Texas football team. They called this weekend to cheer me up, and they said, ‘Don’t you remember, if she was a man she'd have made our team!?'

"I’m telling you man: she’s tough. She’s not ready to go."

The controversy surrounding Ryan O’Neal’s control over Farrah Fawcett in her dying days is intensifying as one of Farrah’s closest lifelong friends has stepped forward to claim that O’Neal is blocking him from any communication at all with his dear friend and business associate-- but that he won't give up until he's allowed to see her.

Texan Greg Lott, Farrah’s partner in the Official Farrah Fawcett website since 2006, has been a part of her life and legend for more than forty years.

“You want to know who’s keep me from accessing Farrah, physically, by telephone or email? The first person who’s blocking is Donna Curry, the building manager,” he said. “She’s lied to me on several occasions about what the process is to get through to Farrah."

“Ryan O’Neal is the gatekeeper. He’s been living there since I got there the day before Easter. I assume he’s been living there since the day he brought her home from the hospital, because that’s the last time I talked to her.

“And the other one is Alana Stewart."


Lott was the star quarterback at The University of Texas at Austin and Farrah was pledging the Tri Delta sorority when they first met in 1965. “She was my girlfriend, probably the most gorgeous creature I’d ever seen in my life,” he recalls. He became something of a notorious Texas legend after Farrah left college for Hollywood after her junior year. She wound up marrying Lee Majors, but Lott stayed in touch with her family, and in 1997, after Farrah and Ryan O’Neal announced their breakup, Lott and Farrah rekindled their friendship, and according to reports at the time, their relationship.

Lott, a businessman based in Texas, is close-lipped when it comes to details about their relationship, but says he’s been in Los Angeles since April 11, staying in an area hotel and trying to see Farrah, who’s been in her Beverly Hills area apartment.

“I’ve been here in Los Angeles since the day before Easter. I came of the plane and went straight to the building and was told I was no longer on the list-- with is a lie because there is no list. You get access when Farrah says they want to see you. What am I gonna do? Throw a fit in the building? I went back to the hotel. But I've been back, and have been lied to again and again."

O’Neal, Stewart and O’Neal’s business manager were sued earlier this month by Farrah’s documentary production partner Craig Nevius, who claimed in Superior Court documents that O’Neal unlawfully took creative control over what was to be a journalistic treatment of Farrah’s cancer battle but which became a sappy, morbid soap opera produced in conjunction with NBC News and featuring O’Neal in a reprise of his role in the cancer movie Love Story (the project was even renamed “Farrah’s Story”).

Nevius’ suit seemed superfluous after the NBC tabloid special ran on May 15th, but took on wider significance after Tabloid Baby reported that a main piece of evidence is a disputed signature on the document that allowed O’Neal to take over Farrah’s project, and ultimately her life.

Nevius also brought up access to his collaborator when talking about his complaint.

“Farrah and I have always had a direct and open line of communication-- professionally and personally,” he told Tabloid Baby. “So why haven't Ryan and his business manager allowed me to see her? And why was I threatened-- physically and professionally-- if I even tried?”

Lott announced on the Farrah website on May 24th that he'd been denied access to his business partner. This is the first time he's pointed a finger publicly, as well as stating that he's in for the long haul. He told us:

“I’m staying here until I see Farrah Fawcett, and that means forever. I’m gonna keep on pushing in the media until somebody makes this change.”

The issue of a disputed signature in the lawsuit over Farrah Fawcett's cancer documentary has led to new questions that go beyond Ryan O'Neal's control over the project to his control over Farrah Fawcett's final days.

Craig Nevius, the producer who's suing Ryan O'Neal, Alana Stewart and O'Neal's business manager for allegedly unlawfully hijacking Farrah Fawcett's cancer documentary project, confirmed our report that the signature on the document transferring creative control to O'Neal and company could be a explosive evidence against the defendants. He also revealed that the issue goes far beyond the television special.

"It wouldn't be appropriate for me to comment on matters of which I don't have firsthand knowledge," Nevius told Tabloid Baby this afternoon. "But I will acknowledge that you have raised some questions that need answers in terms of the disparity between those two signatures, especially when you take into account the various public statements about Farrah's lucidity, or lack thereof, that have come from Ryan O'Neal and others over the past six weeks or so.

"I wish I had the answers but I don't. I have not been allowed access to Farrah, not even the briefest of phone calls, by others whom I have never had to go through before."


The questions of access and Farrah's condition was also raised over the weekend in a message on her official website, FarrahFawcett.us:

"To add to this on going upsetting situation with Farrah. Now I have been denied access to my business partner (Farrah) by phone, email and in-person. Farrah and I have been in partnership with FarrahFawcett.us since the conception in Sept. 2006. Please keep her in your thoughts. ~Greg Lott"

Greg Lott is Farrah's partner in website and has long been part of Farrah Fawcett lore, with a relationship that goes back at least 43 years when he was her boyfriend at the University of Texas at Austin (People magazine: "The Delta Delta Delta sorority sister was going steady with Greg Lott, the Longhorns' star quarterback...") and who rekindled his relationship with the beauty in 1997, after she and O'Neal announced their breakup.


Sources tell Tabloid Baby that the native Texan is in Los Angeles, and is very concerned about Farrah's condition, now that O'Neal has announced that her treatment has pretty much ended, and that he controls her medication.

The document at the center of this sad chapter bears Farrah's signature and hands over "full power and authority" in the production company she started with Nevius a year earlier to business manager Richard B. Francis and "full artistic and creative control" of her cancer journal documentary to O'Neal. The document is dated April 20, four days after Farrah's son Redmond said in open court that her condition had deteriorated and she was down to 86 pounds.

Nevius (below) and other sources (including Tabloid Baby pal Brett Hudson, who was treated in Germany with Farrah and is working on his own doco project, Frozen Pictures' The Klinik) tell us that Farrah intended the documentary to explore why alternative treatments were not available in the United States. It wound up as a morbid, exploitative tabloid television entertainment special produced under the auspices of NBC News and the supervision of O'Neal, who played a major part onscreen and in its promotion.

Nevius insists. "Her condition, by all accounts, seems to have gotten worse over the last two months, yet Ryan and Alana Stewart's spokesperson has said that Farrah is still seeing friends. So why haven't Ryan and his business manager allowed me to see her? And why was I threatened--physically and professionally)-- if I even tried?

"Like Farrah said in our documentary about her cancer, 'I don't have all the answers. But I do have some questions.'"
