Farrah's grave

Farrah Fawcett was laid to rest at Westwood Memorial Park, the small but celebrity-packed graveyard, hidden away behind a movie theatre and office buildings off Wilshire Blvd., not far from the condo where she spent her final months.

According to the Adventures in Grave Hunting blog, Farrah's grave "is located in a prominent garden plot on the south side of the cemetery, across the lawn from another famous blonde... Marilyn Monroe"-- and next to Merv Griffin.

The cemetery is the final resting place for other tragic beauties including Natalie Wood. Minnie Ripperton, Heather O'Rourke and Dominique Dunne.

Farrah lawsuit labelled "a load of sh*t"

LISA BOYLE/RADARONLINE.COM

"A load of shit!"
"A great big lie!"

Farrah Fawcett's documentary producing partner Craig Nevius has gotten another show of support from another member of Farrah's inner circle against the lawsuit filed by Farrah's estate and its executor, Ryan O'Neal's business manager Richard B. Francis.

This weekend, the National Enquirer's RadarOnline.com reports exclusively that Lisa Boyle has called the lawsuit accusing Nevius of botching Farrah's cancer documentary and possibly stealing her money “a load of s---” and “one big lie” (our staff figured out the translation of "s---").

“Farrah would not have wanted what is going on,” Boyle tells Radar.

LISA BOYLE/RADARONLINE.COM

Lisa Boyle is a photographer who met Farrah on the set of the 204 reality series, Chasing Farrah that was produced by Nevius. She remained a close friend and confidante of the icon until her death from cancer last June.

She is the latest Farrah insider, joining Charlie's Angel Kate Jackson and Farrah's former assistant Mike Pingel, supporting Nevius in his fight against O'Neal, Francis, and Alana Stweart. Nevius sued the trio for wresting control of his and Farrah's documentary project, A Wing and A Prayer after Farrah sold the footage to NBC, and then turning the cancer journey project into a maudlin, exploitative paean to Farrah and O'Neal's love, retitled Farrah's Story in a nod to O'Neal's film from 1970, Love Story.

The suit against Nevius, filed earlier this month, is seen to be a countersuit to his charges. Nevius has stated that he will use Farrah's written and videotaped statements in his defense, literally calling his partner to testify from beyond the grave.

Some body to share Farrah Fawcett's grave?

While controversy swirls around her legacy and Farrah Fawcett rests in the Westwood Village Memorial Park behind the towers of Wilshire Boulevard, a new question has arisen surrounding the odd placement of her name on her headstone.

More than one observer has commented that Farrah's name is placed high on the stone, with lots of space below.

The reason for all that empty space? One reader has offered fascinating speculation:

"It may be that Ryan O'Neal is planning to be buried in the same plot with his name on the same stone. This would be why there's so much room left under Farrah's name. This would also explain why Farrah was not cremated as (Farrah's college sweetheart and late-life secret lover) Greg Lott and others know was Farrah's wish."

Fascinating! In fact, O'Neal could have gotten the idea while on a somber walk through the park, where he could have bumped into the grave of Farrah's fellow Seventies television icon, Carroll O'Connor, who generously shares his plot and gravestone with not only his wife, but his troubled, drug-addicted son--

Troubled, drug addicted son? All the more poignant reason for Farrah to make room.

But Ryan O'Neal? Linked with Farrah through eternity? For now, it's only speculation, but at least Farrah gets top billing.

What do you think?

Fan records Farrah Fawcett tribute album

The tributes to Farrah Fawcett have taken a tuneful turn, as musician Alain Lustig has released Farrah On My Mind, "a musical tribute to Farrah Fawcett."

The lyrics to sixteen songs are displayed on the website, with titles like Something In her Eyes, Leni, Always There, and The Rock (?) and Prayer To The Universe, a sample of which can be heard by clicking here and whose lyrics include the lines:

"No one stays young and fresh forever
What still remains so beautiful
is the love I hold for you"

The guy's a fan, at least according to "The Story" told on the site, which begins:

"'Once upon a time there were 3 little girls.....

"the introduction to a well known tv series of the 70s featuring 3 beautiful ladies…..it is also the way most fairy tales start...But this one was real...there was also an innocent young man who fell in love with an Angel (I know I was not the only one....you can smile here!!!) but right from the start I knew there was more to this feeling...so much more !!! It was not something sexual…not the hair….not the million dollar smile…..NOT the nipples on that famous poster…..it was beyond comprehension…..the vision of absolute beauty !!! The embodiment of God’s perfection !!! Some of you will now argue and say she was not perfect….I agree….but….take her body….her hair…her smile…her striking eyes…her sweet voice….her girl-next-door innocence….her kindness and add it up…. you will end with the most gorgeous creature ever to live…like an Angel…..Farrah Fawcett..."

Lustig writes that he wrote the album for Farrah after it was announced she'd been diagnosed with cancer in 2006.

"I am not ashamed to say, I cried my heart out ! I could not believe It….NO not her …not this woman ! I started searching the internet for updates, and saw all the pictures, interviews, movie clips I had missed all those years…and I fell in love again ! I wanted to do something to try to help, to give her strength and hope, so I started writing love songs."

The following year, he connected with one of the Farrah Fawcett MySpace pages, and decided that one of the sites was actually Farrah's.

"It was discrete and simple…the way it was titled I knew this was hers. I created my own Myspace page, put a few songs on it, and sent her an invitation ! We became friends, and eventually, I found a way to send her my CDs. It was a dream coming true…She was a very kind and sweet person… Even going through hell, she never complained……I would have loved to meet her….

"I will probably never know for sure if this Myspace friend was really Farrah !!! Yet she wrote something to me right from the start of our friendship I will treasure in my heart forever :

"« Alain...how could it be that such words would be written about me? I truly am nothing that special...your kindness brings a tear to my eye...The prognosis of my cancer is guarded...but I will survive and if not..............my memory of your sweet words, I will take to my grave and then to live with the angels...Luv..Farrah »

"She is, was, and will forever be my greatest love, my friend and my inspiration….thank you girl for giving us this beautiful DREAM !!!"

Lustig describes himself as a "fan," and includes a link to the MyFarrah.com. He promises that those who download his songs or album "can be assured to make a difference in our fight against cancer.

"I am not doing this for my personal gain, but to honor the memory of a wonderful and courageous woman....a real artist.....talented actress.... friend......and my greatest love. I commit myself to donate half of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society (for wich Farrah was a spokesperson)."

The album and individyal tracks are available as downloads on Amazon and various sites.

Alain Lustig? According to his Facebook page, he's a 48-year-old musician from Strasbourg, France who's been "touched by an Angel." (According to a Google search, he's a stockbroker sentenced to 28 months in prison for stock fraud, but it's probably not the same guy).

Fill us in, Farrah fans.

From Alain Lustig's Leni (for Farrah Leni Fawcett):

"I still remember, long ago
when an angel got her wings
and took a ride to the stars
She crashed right into my heart
That was so easy to break
For a girl like you... oh
what can I do
I love you, I love you
This is all I can say"

Craig Nevius responds to Farrah lawsuit

"I will be happy to let the work Farrah and I did together
and Farrah's own words speak for me and defend me,
finally removing all doubt and suspicion as to what actually happened
during the final months of her life and who her real exploiters are."

We filled you in earlier this morning on the story behind the lawsuit by Farrah Fawcett's estate against Craig Nevius, the documentary producer who sued Farrah's sometime lover Ryan O'Neal and business manager Richard B. Francis for forcing him off Farrah's cancer project. Francis is the executor of the estate that filed suit against Nevius yesterday.

This morning, Craig Nevius sent us a statement in response, telegraphing his intention to call Farrah herself as a star witness from beyond the grave:

"These accusations are nothing more than a fabricated press release disguised as a lawsuit. As much as I would like to answer the allegations and disprove them right here and right now in the court of public opinion, I will wait to do so in a court of law. Out of respect to Farrah, I limited the focus of my lawsuit against Richard Francis, Ryan O'Neal and Alana Stewart to issues of contract interference. But it now seems that at least one of the defendants wants to widen the scope of litigation to issues of artistic integrity and the personal relationships between parties. If that is the case, I will be happy to let the work Farrah and I did together (over years) speak for itself. And I will be more than happy to let the video tapes, documents, witnesses and Farrah's own words (both written and spoken) speak for me and defend me, finally removing all doubt and suspicion as to what actually happened during the final months of her life and who her real exploiters are. This is a fight Francis, O'Neal and Stewart cannot win."

Executive Producer/Director

Today we ran into Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal

We saw Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal this afternoon, separately, of course. We ran into Ryan after he burst in through the back door of Musso & Frank in Hollywood in time for lunch, big and only occasionally boisterous in a double-breasted brown suit, settling into a booth with a couple of women. Farrah we happened to visit at the Westwood Village Memorial Park because there was traffic on Wilshire Boulevard and we had some time to kill on the way back to the Tabloid Baby office.

We also wanted to see if her tombstone has yet been inscribed. It hasn't, so Farrah's unmarked grave took some finding. There were a number of similar unmarked plots with a headstone and two benches in this newer, more modern south side of the cemetery (the middle of the park has mostly ground-level markers while many folks are slid into crypts along the walls) but we knew Farrah is next to Merv Griffin.

Farrah rests across the driveway from Dominique Dunne, whose father Dominick died yesterday. Dominique's death by strangling at the hands of her boyfriend set her father on his career chronicling celebrity murder trials.

Billy Wilder is buried in a small section behind Farrah, with one grave separating him from Jack Lemmon. We liked his inscription best.

No words on Farrah's headstone

Lisa Burks write on her Adventures in Grave Hunting blog of a recent visit to Farrah Fawcett's grave at the Westwood Memorial Park:

"Last I've heard or seen, the marble marker in the garden plot where Farrah Fawcett was buried remains un-engraved.

"I guess that's why, when I saw her best friend of 30 years, Alana Stewart, all over the news today promoting her book about Farrah, less than two months after the Angel's death, my head kind of exploded.

"Granted, Alana might not be in charge of getting that task accomplished. And I'm sure she means well. But, all things being equal, the visuals of Farrah's blank slate versus a 288-page book that in essence capitalizes on her death strikes me as beyond tacky and rather cha-ching!-ish.

Exclusive: Birthday angel at Farrah's grave

A holographic angel has been sighted on Farrah Fawcett's gravestone at the Westwood Village Meorial Park. A Tabloid Baby reader sent along the photos of the eerie paperweight, marked with the words "Happy B'day."

While legal battles raged on around her legacy since her death on June 25th, the beloved Hollywood icon and original Charlie's Angel would have celebrated her 63rd birthday on Tuesday, February 2nd.

A year without Farrah

Photographers were there as Ryan O'Neal brought Redmond O'Neal, his son with Farrah Fawcett and heir to her millions, to visit the actress' grave on the first anniversary of her death. The drug-troubled, often-jailed Redmond is said to be sober.
