The valuable diaries written by Hollywood icon Farrah Fawcett during her transcontinental battle against cancer have mysterious gone missing, and accusations are flying about who made off with them.
Farrah, who died June 25th, had jotted her thoughts, experiences and artwork in the faux-leatherbound books over the two years she traveled back and forth to cancer clinics in Germany for the treatments that extended but ultimately failed to save her life from the disease that ravaged her since 2006.
The first of the blank-paged volumes was given to her by producer Craig Nevius in 2007 before her first trip to Germany. Nevius, who produced Farrah's 2005 reality television series, was producing the documentary based on Farrah's video diaries of her cancer fight.
One insider tells Tabloid Baby exclusively: "Farrah wrote in them all the time. They were brown and looked like leather. You can get the book at stationery stores. It's long and rectangle-shaped rather than perfectly square. You open it and it's just empty pages. I saw her with it. Farrah would draw in it-- write her thoughts and stuff like that.
"Apparently, it's gone missing."
This week, HarperCollins publishers announced the forthcoming publication of a related book by Alana Stewart, Farrah's friend who accompanied her to Germany, helmed the video camera for the documentary, and later held out for a producer's credit after the material was sold to NBC and recut under the stewardship of Farrah's companion Ryan O'Neal.
According to the press release, the book My Journey with Farrah is a "tribute" in which "Stewart shares her personal diaries from her three years by Farrah’s side."
"The scuttlebutt is that this book that Alana Stewart is writing-- and you know she's not really 'writing' it; she has a ghostwriter-- contains Farrah's words from her diary," says the insider. "And Redmond is not very happy with Alana's book coming out."
Redmond is Redmond O'Neal, Farrah's son with Ryan O'Neal, who's currently jailed on drug charges. Redmond is presumably Farrah's beneficiary and the owner of the missing diaries.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE!!!
ReplyDeleteI DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY Farrah's things weren't 'FROZEN' till after the reading of the will! And that her apartment wasn't locked up! Was there a reading of the will? I haven't read anything pertaining to this!
I wouldn't be SURPRISED if Farrah's items 'GO MISSING' from the warehouse or storage place where she has her memorabilia, ESPECIALLY the swimsuit! Farrah was being robbed while she was alive ... and she is still being robbed after her death!
What a sad situation! I do not know why her immediate family didn't intervine! Seems Ryan was in control over EVERYTHING! Even her funeral. He was in control over who comes and goes to the Mass! What's up with Farrah's family????? Granted her father is in his 90s BUT there MUST OF BEEN SOMEONE in her family that could of handled her business!
I just don't understand!!!!
I've read that some of Farrah's things are up on E Bay persumably by Alana! How did this happen???
I sometimes think all of this could be a publicity stunt to gain attention, because NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE!!! ONCE AGAIN, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND!!!!
I hope someone can shed some light!

Europe
I'm not surprised. Death does strange things to people.
ReplyDeleteI hope they are recovered so that her son can have them.
I couldn't understand when Alana was asked if they ever discussed Farrah's wishes, Alana said no. I can't believe best friends didn't share that? Someone had to know what her wishes were.
When you are given the terminal diagnosis you start getting your affairs in order. You make sure your closest friends know what you want so that your wishes are carried out.
MOTHER OF THE YEAR....
ReplyDeleteVery Well Said,
I thought the same thing. Alana
was so scripted, and reptitious it was pathetic !
Wow Alana is a total low life prostitute. Selling a book that we know the bimbo did'nt write but a ghost writer and stolen diaries. She is a scumbag and I hope the money she makes brings her misfortune in the long run. You have it coming Ms.Stewart in time you will reep the misery you cashed in about a woman who fought a painful battle with cancer. It;s sick and are you that hard up for cash??? Go deal with your junkie son instead of making money off of someones tragedy and do do it so soon shows what a money hungry souless vile creature you are.I hope it all turns against you and in time karma will come knocking.
ReplyDeleteMother of the year
ReplyDeleteFARRAH STATED IF SHE ONLY HAS 2 MONTHS SHE WANTED TO KNOW SO SHE COULD GET HER AFFAIRS IN ORDER.ALANA SAID ON ET SHE WAS STILL HOPING FOR A MIRACLE SO SHE WOULD NOT ALLOW A CONVERSATION LIKE THAT WITH FARRAH.
HMMM I WONDER WHY.IM SURE THE DOCTORS KNEW BEFORE APRIL FARRAH DID NOT HAVE LONG AND THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS WERE IM SURE KNEW .
RYAN AND ALANA DID'NT ALLOW FARRAH TO GET HER AFFAIRS IN ORDER. THEY KEPT HER THINKING SHE WAS GOING TO MAKE IT,RYAN SAID IT HIMSELF ON THE TODAY SHOW THAT HE LIES TO HER AND SAYS YES YOUR GOING TO MAKE IT.I SAW THE INTERVIEW HE DID AND THATS WHAT HE SAID SO SHE DID'NT HAVE HONEST PEOPLE AROUND HER AT THE END.
ReplyDeleteAnyone hear if a will has been filed?
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that makes sense to me is that Alana said what she said so that the public would not start a "days left" count. I think had Alana said something different, it would imply to the public that Farrah's days were limited.
When Farrah was told there was nothing more that could be done, she should have either gotten her affairs in order or already had them. I don't see her not having a will after being diagnosed regardless of whether she'd live or not.
Alana and Ryan are very sneaky and it shows what little love they had for her.She kept some shady company and whatever she saw in Ryan who is a male whrore.I doubt they were much of a couple over the last 6 years,I think it was more on/off relationship since she did keep her own residence seperate from Ryan.Alana cashing in so soon is awful and disrepectful to Farrah. Farrah really trusted her and that's the ultimate betrayal.I hope nobody buys that book and puts more money in her bank account. Cashing in on a dead woman/friend is terrible.
ReplyDeleteWith friends like Alana who needs enemies

Either he is a good actor and can hold back tears or he is a lousy actor trying to look upset.

ReplyDeleteA diary or a personal journal is your most intimate confidante. You can confidently share your secrets with it knowing that your personal diary will not talk to someone. So you should be very careful about your personal dairy. Leather is one of the most versatile materials that finds application in many areas. I would suggest to maintain a leather dairy instead of any normal dairy.
