This just in! Steve Dunleavy celebrated a birthday on Saturday. Sixty-eight glorious, hellacious, spectacular, tabloid-ridden years!

    Dunleavy was the only media guy I encountered at the McVeigh execution who wasn't a pompous ass. Nor did he lie in his reporting like those other jackals. It was an honor to shake his hand.
