Is Art Vargas the great hope of Las Vegas?

We caught Art Vargas on Dennis Bono's radio show (from Sam's Town) last night. Looks like Las Vegas has been keeping a Danny Gans-sized talent under the radar: an old school lounge singer who's worked his way up from the impersonator ranks and appears primed for a shot at a big league showroom of his own.

  1. That's for sure! Vargas gives his all, have seen him at Bally's and the Bootlegger so far.

  2. You got that right! Vargas is the best I've seen, and I have seen my fair share of performers over the years... he is the consummate entertainer!!

  3. Been digging the swank set for years, seen them light up the stage at just about every vintage Vegas left in Sin City! Art is one of the most energetic, flat-out entertainers left in town. He's what Vegas is all about! Miss him at your peril, hipsters!

  5. Can't tell you how many times over the last ten years I planned my trips to LV around this guy's schedule. He's THAT good. He's everything that was right about entertainment in the past, and has been missing for a while.

  6. Art should have had his own showroom years ago! His talent is the kind of talent Las Vegas was built on! Look up entertainer in the dictionary & Art's picture is there (well, it should be)!
