Report: Rehabbing Redmond rebels, refuses role in dad Ryan O'Neal's sequel to TV special about his mom Farrah Fawcett

Gossip man Mike Walker, who has pretty reliable sources, reports in this week's National Enquirer that "drug addict Redmond O'Neal" is "fed up with the money-grubbing exploitation of dead mom Farrah Fawcett by ruthlessly abusive dad Ryan O'Neal" and "finally exploded and refused to star in Ryan's sequel to Farrah's Story, the hit TV documentary that featured shocking footage of jailbird Redmond shuffling in shackles to Mommy's deathbed!"

Walker goes a step further by adding that "Redmond-- desperately fighting his drug habit in rehab-- blames Ryan for the vicious snub of Farrah by the Oscars, which cut her out of its In Memorium segment."

Ryan is quoted by a "friend visiting him in rehab":

"My dad's pissed off so many people in Hollywood that they're taking it out on my mother!"

Redmond reportedly believes his dad is "using poor Farrah's memory to grub for money he badly needs. Redmond got $4.5 million in Farrah's will-- but Ryan got zero."

According to one of Mike's insiders, Red's "residual anger" at that deathbed scene has built after "friends and fellow jailbirds convinced him that Ryan shouldn't have shot that embarrassing footage.

"And now that he's out of jail, he's told Ryan not to visit him in rehab."

Sound true?

  1. The National Enquirer paid a hospital employee at UCLA Medical Center to leak Farrah's medical records. I can't believe they have the nerve to even mention her name. WHY WOULD ANYONE BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY ABOUT FARRAH OR HER FAMILY?? They are garbage.

  2. Well pretty obvious who made the first post.

Way to go Redmond! It's about time buddy and you stick to your guns. It is time you stood up to your father and put him in his place! You have the support of almost (comment #1 - not sure), every Farrah Fawcett Fan!!!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Good for Redmond!
I hope this is true. Because the minute that kid gets free of drugs Ryan loses and does Alana!

  4. Well we all know who the first comment was from!

Way to go Redmond!!! It is time to put your father in his place and honor your mother! As Fawcett Fan's (not sure about first commentor) we support you 100%!

  5. Good for Redmond.
The minute that kid gets free of drugs and realizes what his dad and Alana have been up to will be the day Ryan and Alana are out of the selling Farrah business!

  6. I seriously doubt a father (even one with a bad history) and a woman's best friend would be a 'loser' if this young man were to clean up his life. They want Redmond well more than anyone. Some of you comment like YOU are on something.

    ReplyDelete
  7. REALLY? Who is the first comment from?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Curious as well, who was the first comment?

  9. 7:13,
My comment is about the National Enquirer being scum. You think what they did to Farrah was ok? And how does what I said have snything to do with not supporting Redmond? You say people 'stir the shit'? Looks like you're talking about yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Anon 7:34 Touchy aren't we? When you get call out for not supporting Redmond...gee that hurts doesnt' it?

Go to Radar Online, Go to CharliesAngels.com and look up the court documents! Suprising information is there about your idols Ryan and Alana!

Then come back and tell us what you really think.

Like I said: You always make the first post and then it "Starts All Over Again"!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I AGREE WITH WHAT THE FIRST COMMENT SAYS ABOUT THE N.E. FARRAH WENT THROUGH HELL BECAUSE OF THEM AT A TIME WHEN SHE SURELY DIDN'T NEED IT. EVEN NEVIUS HAS TALKED ABOUT THAT. THEY ARE SCUM. NO FARRAH FAN SHOULD GIVE THEM A SECOND GLANCE.

  12. 7:39,
Radaronline?? The one Tabloid Baby hates and always calls out for lies? OK, just want to be sure.

    ReplyDelete
  13. 7:39,
If you're going to 'call somebody out', at least know what you're talking about. Where did I say ANYTHING about Redmond in that comment, Braniac?

That's what I get for trying to match wits with an unarmed man, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  14. True about the National Enquirer, but who do you think owns this?
Same people, same place, same stuff. So, just to be sure that we are on the same page...none of these tabloids can you give much credit too! And that includes the TV gossips too (Access Hollywood, Extra, ET, etc.) But, we (as in all of us here) are using all of them to voice our opinion.

When Farrah asked fans to write the Attorney General of Ca. and get law passes to protect patients rights...I did...he responded with an email back...eventually law passed. So, I am just as opposed to this type of Media as the next person, but again, we are here to voice an opinion!

  15. 7:44 - you probably are the first post.

I disagree that they want Redmond clean! Seems like Ryan has supplied his own son (and daughter) in the past with drugs. If Redmond is not going to cooperate with Dads doc. then God help Redmond...Ryan/Alana might shove the drugs right back into his face. I hope not! I would love (Just Once) to give Ryan O'Neal the benefit of the doubt, but when you read the things he has said about himself, it is hard to have much faith in his ability as a father!

Again, I hope Ryan helps and does not hurt Redmond.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Raym, I agree. If or when the truth does come out completely, someone will pay.

Sad, how her "family-Ryan and best friend-Alana" have treated her before she passed away and now that she is gone. It pains me to think that someone could exploit their "lover" and their "friend"!

I would hope if ever in that situation, I would do the right thing and not try to make money off of my deceased friend over and over. The book - Maybe, but Alana is doing more and so is Ryan.

People this is your "Aunt Esther" saying: these people need our prayers. And while you are praying, please include the person that made the first post. This stuff really seems to bother this person to the point of obsession. So, lets hold a little Church and put them all in our prayers. We all need them!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I posted this before, but didnt realize my PICTURE would also show up, so took it down....

Regardless of all this SIDES stuff, its just very sad to think anyone would hurt her, especially when she was down, IT'S JUST VERY SAD to do that to someone. Hopefully who ever/someone, will pay for any wrong doing they have done to FARRAH.

    Raym

  19. I hope it's true

It can't be said without sounding condescending but I am very proud of Redmond, it sounds like he is stepping up and he just might make it after all

    I'm praying for you Red

  20. 7:11,
You never answered the questions: Who made the first post and what does hating the National Enquirer have to do with not supporting Redmond??

    ReplyDelete
  21. Anon 8:28,
What a phony! One minute you're on here calling people names and the next you're soliciting prayers?? Please. Save it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I hope Redmond realizes that his mom's best friend is hardly a Friend and I hope this story is true and he get his dad out of his life for good.
Kicking his drug habbit would make him mom proud and so would kicking his dad and that Alana person out of his life and his mom's likeness!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well, I personally hope NONE of this is true. It may sound like a fairytale, but I hope Redmond recovers and that they can mend their relationship. Farrah loved them both. I think it would be great if something good came out of Farrah's tragic death. Ryan and Tatum's relationship shows there is hope.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Anon4:48 - You hope none of this is true? You want Redmond exploited in a TV special by his father? Did you know that his mother protected and shielded Redmond from the press as much as possible?

Why would you want Redmond in this sequel talking about and go over and over his drug problems?
What is wrong with this picture?
Seriously I would really like to know what you are thinking?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Last anon,
Please re-read my comment. I am not talking about the tv specials. Redmond is an adult now and if he wants to be out of filming anything, he can choose to do so. I am merely talking about their relationship, and hoping what family they have left stays together.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I personally didn't like the scene--it was disturbing. But really, why would Redmond be mad at his father for that scene anyway? Isn't that 'misplaced anger'? It wasn't anybody elses fault that he was in shackles and couldn't be with her, but his own.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Anon 2:35 Now what is it you have against praying for these people?
Name calling is your specality! I hope that there IS hope for Ryan and your buddy Alana!

Anon 7:35 - Probably the same as the above: Remond with misplace anger; Redmond being upset for his father putting that scene in doc. At least it disturbed you! I was in the poorest taste to have put that in the documentary! Farrah would not have wanted her son seen that way and you want to give a pass to Ryan and Alana. Is there anything they do that is not okay with you?

    ReplyDelete
  28. 4:33 aks: "Is there anything they do that is not okay with you?" Hmmmm....I think I'll wait to pass judgement on them until I see proof otherwise. See, that's what REASONABLE people do. They wait to hear both sides before they pass judgement, especially when they don't actually KNOW the people involved or were witness to anything. THAT'S where you and I differ.

    ReplyDelete
  29. And I mean a court of law--not the tabloids.

Last 3 comments from same person. Don't freak out and say I'm talking to myself.

    ReplyDelete
  30. You know nothing about me, but you judge!
Save it yourself. I do pray for these people. Called Alana a bitch, yes I did, but that doesn't mean that I don't pray she will do right by her "dead" friend. So far it has be very questionable.

Why don't you direct your babble at somebody who cares! I really don't! You are just another Ryan/Alana Fan who supports everything they do! Yes, the courts will decide, then you will know that everything I have said is correct! Sorry, IT'S AN OPINION...NOT SAID FOR YOU TO PICK, AND PICK, AND PICK AT, BUT IT YOU MUST...GO AHEAD. AT LEAST YOU ARE LEAVING OTHERS ALONE!

    ReplyDelete
  31. OMG. U R so right. My bad. I totally misjudged u. Anyone who says something like "Called Alana a bitch, yes I did, but that doesn't mean that I don't pray she will do right by her 'dead' friend."....that was totally, very sweet. Again--My bad.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Not going for very sweet! Never was and won't ever go for very sweet! Just because I don't like someone doesn't mean I can't pray for them and hope the best!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Sorry, your comment wasn't 'VERY sweet'. It was just 'PLAIN sweet'. AGAIN---MY BAD. I keep dissin' you without meaning to.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Seriously, I would LOOOOOVE a healthy debate on any of these subjects. BUUUUTTTT....everytime I ask you a question, you change the subject or twist my words. I am waiting to see what happens with the trial to pass judgement on something I wish would have never had to happen. I personally believe the people Farrah loved were true to her and upheld her wishes. All else is speculation and tabloid rumor. Unless you were witness to something else???? Then, do tell.....'cause I would appreciate a reason to think otherwise. Until then......

    ReplyDelete
  35. Anon 3:22
    Awe....here is your debate:

"I personally believe the people Farrah loved were true to her and upheld her wishes."

I think they stabbed her in the back! No, I wasn't there, but I believe Nevius when he says that he has/had Farrah's back! The others "SEEM" (let me say it again) Seem to be out for the cash with really no regard to her memory at all!

    ReplyDelete
  36. AND as for changing the subject, you are the one that gets the two thumbs up!

I said something about prayer and you jumped on it. Then went to sweet, then on a a debate. What's it going to be????????????

    ReplyDelete
  37. No regard to her memory at all??? The Farrah Fawcett Foundation. A book about Farrah. And a documentary called 'Farrah's Story'. I think there's been a 'little' done in her memory.

    Duh.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Duh: That is your problem! You believe in these things! Yes, there was a documentary, but many questions about how it came to be not to mention Alana's power play for more money and a better title.

I guess you choose not to read Radar's legal documents that were filed. They also bring up questions about Alana becoming president of the foundation.

The book...not much you can say about that, but it wasn't a tribute that is forsure!

As for things being done in her memory. I believe that they are yet to come, but not by your idols.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I never said these people were my idols. The last time I checked--this is America. You are innocent until proven guilty. You are just so closed minded and blind that you can't possibly understand how someone could keep an open mind. Maybe think there are 2 sides to every story? I've read everything. So far, everything's been one man's word against another. How you chose to know without a doubt which man is lying, since you say you don't know any of these people, I do not understand. When you say "let the courts decide", do you know what you're saying? You should follow your own advice.

    ReplyDelete
  40. You feel sorry for me? I'm touched.

P.S. I know I gave this little hint before, but you might want to double check your spelling (unbelieveable??) BEFORE you call somebody else uneducated.

    ReplyDelete
  41. 11:05,
Is that what you do when you have nothing intelligent to say? Resort to name calling? Deal with it. There are more opnions here than just yours.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Redmond refuses role in O'Neal sequel! Good for Redmond! He respects his mother more than most!

    ReplyDelete
  43. The whole story sounds like typical tabloid fodder. Why would Redmond take advise from fellow inmates? Certainly he's had time to think about a lot of things. His father is not totally to blame for all his bad choices--(though undoubtably he is one of the reasons for the behavior)--he is an adult. Also, I doubt Redmond would be very happy if any of his 'friends' gave interviews to the National Enquirer. They hurt Farrah deeply.

"Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear".

    ReplyDelete
  44. Who said Redmond was taking advice from inmates? Besides he is in rehab, not prison! He has counselors and others to talk to as well. His father is not allowed near him!

Refusing a role is being an Adult and finally taking a stand!

I think his mother would be proud!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Tabloid Baby and Mike Walker did: Read the 2nd to the last paragraph: "friends and fellow jailbirds......blah,blah,blah" That's your problem--you don't read.

    ReplyDelete
  46. 9:37...I read that part too! However there are other counselors and people talking to Redmond!

I'm just glad he listened! Or maybe the boy/man has finally wised up!

May I ask why you are so picky?
You question everything I write or say...grammer, where this is from or that is from...it is a blog so why so picky?

    ReplyDelete
  47. 6:22,
Not picky---just like facts to back things up. If you're gonna make a statement, be prepared to back it up, that's all. Might "just be a blog", but it doesn't give people unlimited freedom to spread hurtful lies, gossip on the internet.

    ReplyDelete
  48. All right! Farrah's Dad and Lee Majors won't help Ryan either as was reported on Radar Online!

Good for them....3 down..no chance of their cooperation!

    ReplyDelete
  49. That's silly.......Why would you even EXPECT Lee Majors to help Ryan??

    ReplyDelete
  50. 5:33,
How did you find this? I type in Lee Majors under radaronline's search and I can't find it.

    ReplyDelete
  51. 5:33,
WOW--another tabloid, breaking news story--just the kind of thing Farrah loved--I'm sure it's ALL true.....NOT.
